Mimu Subsector, subsector A of Dagudashaag, is a heavily agricultural breadbasket of the Third Imperium. There are seven agricultural worlds in the subsector and these export raw and processed foodstuffs to surrounding regions of Corridor, Vland and Gushemege. The majority of the systems in this subsector lie on the Vilani Main.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Mimu Subsector is defended by 5th Fleet.

The subsector is now dominated by the S'mrii ConSentiency, an economic union extending into parts of Gushemege's Tansa Subsector, which had its roots in the autonomous state formed by the S'mrii at the beginning of the Long Night.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes: 1105[edit]

The following astrographic features, trade routes, mains, clusters, and traces can be found within this area:

Vilani Main. (Chart sourced from Traveller Map)

The Vilani Main[edit]

The Vilani Main, the mighty trade artery of the Ziru Sirka, extends into the subsector both from coreward and from spinward.

  • These regions of the main are known, respectively, as the Slaver's Reach Route (part of the Siakmasfa Cluster) and the Mimu Branch.
  • High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
  • Worlds on the Main are highlighted in green.
  • Vland is marked in red.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Mimu, subsector A of Dagudashaag, contains 36 worlds with an estimated combined population of 39 billion, a per capita income of Cr12,509, and a total economy of BCr489,801. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr9,339 through 36 starports (10 Class A, 5 Class B, 14 Class C, 7 Class D) employing 1,427,235 people. Driving this interstellar trade are seven Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, six Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Mimu maintain 13 Scout bases and eight Naval bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Nuikh (Dagudashaag 0201), Mimu (Dagudashaag 0208), and Chiauk (Dagudashaag 0803).

Mimu, subsector A of Dagudashaag, contains 56 stars and 357 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 18 binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 30 of the 36 systems (83%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, seven Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and four Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Mimu has an estimated population of 39 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Mimu (Dagudashaag 0208). The population consists primarily of 6 sophont groups including two native sophonts.

Third Imperium[edit]

The Third Imperium has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 39 billion, a per capita income of Cr12,509, and a total economy of BCr489,801. The governments in the Third Imperium maintain 13 Scout bases and eight Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Nuikh (Dagudashaag 0201), Mimu (Dagudashaag 0208), and Chiauk (Dagudashaag 0803).

The Third Imperium has an estimated population of 39 billion within the subsector, distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Mimu (Dagudashaag 0208). The population consists primarily of 6 sophont groups including two native sophonts.
