Security & Defense[edit]

The worlds of the Main are patrolled by the Imperial Navy. It defends Imperial territory and interests, suppresses piracy, and ensures trade and commerce.

Fleets operating along the Main include the 6th, 65th, 66th, 138th, and 146th Fleets in Massilia Sector and the 117th Fleet in Delphi Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Comp-Prog-Dav-R-Deitrick-Starter-Trav-Page-16 16-July-2018a.jpg

Despite its name, the Khavle Main does not include the the world of Khavle and no part of it passes through Khavle Subsector, in Diaspora Sector.

The etymology of the name is Vilani and is related to the term Khaalab-mada, meaning archipelago or group of islands.

The spinward regions of the Main were explored by the Geonee soon after they acquired jump technology. The presence of relatively large numbers of Geonee among its worlds has earned it the unofficial title Geonee Main.

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.

World Listing[edit]

Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds that are members of the Khavle Main is available.

  • The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
  • Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
  • Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.

AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:

65 of 65 World articles in Khavle Main
Aklan  •  Amanita  •  Bern (Ma 2130)  •  Bisks Planet  •  Broo  •  Cheresa  •  Cordell  •  Danmer  •  Danmoire  •  Daven  •  Devan  •  Doane  •  Earthstone  •  Erro  •  Feiths  •  Ferring  •  Ferron  •  Floting  •  Gelornamite  •  Giirsha  •  Gilafil  •  Gilkla  •  Hadamard  •  Haterbur  •  Hermes Station  •  Hexum  •  Honatty  •  Imaean  •  Independent  •  Irys  •  Jenina  •  Jobi  •  Kindstrom  •  Koenig (De 0228)  •  Laura  •  Lensfer  •  Luong  •  Misthaven  •  Mitt  •  Myimpia  •  Napoleonic  •  Nituu  •  Nova  •  Ortega  •  Parahee  •  Pohkrow  •  Poorstar  •  Quoc  •  Rarian  •  Ray  •  Rinkenbine  •  Rolando  •  Seneca  •  Shallow  •  Shigeko  •  Silas  •  Simmersong  •  Umbia  •  Valli  •  Varglen  •  Vonda  •  Waize  •  Walden  •  Whidden  •  Zarkov  •

Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.

  • Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.
