Wolfe is a pre-agricultural and nonindustrial world lacking adequate development for its economy to become prosperous.

  • As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
  • It is a member of the Solomani Confederation in the Elnath Subsector of Aldebaran Sector.

World Starport[edit]

Wolfe has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Technology Level[edit]

Wolfe possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Wolfe is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.

World Law Level[edit]

Wolfe has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

World Military[edit]

World Culture[edit]

The peoples of Wolfe descend from colonists from Quesada, and have their own separate branch of the Church. Wolfens tend to be more permissive in their faith, but are very willing to argue vigorously its finer points. Beyond that, the culture is live-and-let-live and individual rights are strongly protected. This touchpoint has made for a solid and stable society, but has slowed its growth, as it is difficult to gain consensus on difficult issues.

World Language/s[edit]

Anglic dialect.

Urbanization[edit]

The capitol of Wolfe is Rome, and it lies 30km from the downport on a plateau overlooking a large estuary leading to the ocean.

Construction techniques border on Tech-B with a handful of impressive buildings, and a vigorous reconstruction effort of older buildings.

Historical Data[edit]

Wolfe was colonized by the colony vessel Waiferar (J4, over 4000t), captained by a Cpt. Jon Smið. Captain Smið insisted on naming Wolfe, and many of the other worlds that he was involved in settling. It is rumored here that the Waiferar still exists, out far to the rimward, and that it may return.
