Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Imperial Interstellar Scout Service's famed Second Survey of the Imperium, (originally published in 1065) is now available in an updated and revised commercial edition mapping sectors in and around the Third Imperium. All pertinent astrographic data is presented on 218 full page (8 1/2 by 11 inch) maps showing every Imperial sector within Imperial borders as well as some sectors beyond Imperial borders in all directions, a total of 64 sectors in all. Every world of the Imperium and many beyond are shown, each in its proper location across sectors ranging from Reference -08 Sectors to Spinward as far as Reference +03 Sectors to Trailing and Reference +03 Sectors to Coreward as far as Reference -04 Sectors to Rimward .
Each world on the map is shown with base, starport, and world type (standard, desert, or asteroid belt), and high-population worlds are named. An introductory page briefly describes the process behind the First and Second Surveys, and pages 3, 210-211 provide keys to interpreting the symbols used on the maps.

Additional Information:
The Vanguard Reaches and The Beyond Sector data are based on the updated and vetted Traveller 5 Second Survey (T5SS) process as it had been applied by Don McKinney in 2015 to the Original Paranoia Press publications from 1980-1981 supplemented with data from the 1991 updates by Chuck Kallenbach. This data has since been superseded on Traveller Map by the data from The Spinward Extents by Geir Lanesskog (published by Mongoose Publishing).
