Sudhaenga is a high-population, non-agricultural and industrial vacuum world, with a billion or more sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It is a member of the Ruler of Five in the Okhuemgir Subsector of Gzaekfueg Sector, which is part of the Vargr Extents.
- It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- This world exerts political control over the military governments of Khakhang and Ugzfersung.

This stark vacuum world orbits a gas giant, which itself orbits a pair of red main sequence stars. It fits a pattern for Vargr colonization efforts: large numbers of settlers are moved to worlds with the potential to develop into industrial worlds. The system contains three planetoid belts, which provide abundant resources and raw materials. Further development has been proposed for the other worlds of the system.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Sudhaenga is a satellite of a large gas giant named Aedhkaez.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Sudhaenga is a Small World between 900km and 2,400km in diameter. The world has very low gravity between 0.05G and 0.09G. The horizon will appear about 2km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Sudhaenga has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Sudhaenga has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Sudhaenga has an insulated presence in Okhuemgir Subsector with its C-rated Highport and Downport capable of major repairs but leaves annual overhauls, drydock and shipyards to other, nearby worlds. With an impressive Importance {3} credential, Sudhaenga has yet to see the coreward-rimward Nudashiir Lagani, a Cyan Trade route alter its course to intersect this vital producer of TL-13 industry. Corporate CEOs tell system media networks that Subsector Capital Gzugo and its successful shipyard Colony of Khakhang (Gzaekfueg 1437 and 1636 respectively) are to blame for the 'detour'. (See the Secret below for the actual reason for the avoidance.)
A quirk of Culture and decreasing diversity has left a very high rating in Symbols. Visitors often must use translators on Sudhaenga as often the locals are not standardized in the languages used in print or on signs. Often a language will borrow a word from a similar tongue but fail to indicate that it is a foreign word, (as italics are used in English when borrowing a non-English word). Such is the mixing of vocabulary, that only accomplished linguists have any ease on Sudhaenga. Most locals with only one language typically use personal devices to weed out or translate the borrowed words in text.
Sudhaenga exerts political control over two other world-systems: Khakhang and Ugzfersung. It supplies these worlds with military hardware and equipment, as well as other vital supplies Low-tech Ugzfersung trades up to Ueghaen which yields its middling exports to Khakhang. Khakhang then surrenders the best yields to Suedhaenga first. In return, the controlling Sudhaenga products trickle down the same but reversed path so as to supply each Colony world with tech-appropriate goods stopping at each system.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Sudhaenga has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Sudhaenga has a population of 4,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- The population entirely consists of Vargr.
The vast majority of Vargr on Sudhaenga are Urzaeng. Ovaghoun Vargr periodically visit, and while a few far-flung Suedzuk occasionally show up they are generally shunned or avoided.
Urbanization[edit]
The territorial Urzaeng do not share the gregarious nature of other Vargr. Their communities tend to be quite spread out, with fences and walls marking their boundaries.
- The Urzaeng have a disdain for weakness. Runts, elderly, and the chronically ill are usually collected into separate communities. Someone with a temporary illness is wise to seclude himself from the public until he recovers.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Sudhaenga possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovideo recorders.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, prototype collectors, advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-4.
World Government (G)[edit]
Sudhaenga has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
World Law (L)[edit]
Sudhaenga has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
Possession of weapons outside the home is prohibited: fighting with weapons is legal but must be conducted within private property.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 3 (ordinary)
Sudhaenga produces 1344 Resource Units (RU or aryu).
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: C (very abundant)
- Labor: 8 (hundreds of millions)
- Infrastructure: B (very extensive)
- Efficiency: +3 (improved)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 7 (discordant)
- Acceptance: E (extremely xenophilic)
- Strangeness: A (incomprehensible)
- Symbols: C (very abstract)
The main spoken languages on Sudhaenga are Urzaneg, Ovaghoun, Anglic, and Vilani. Suedzuk is known but is not spoken in polite company. Translation software is recommended to interpret local symbology.

- 1070: the Second Empire of Gashikan is shattered by civil war.
- 1078: the Third Empire of Gashikan forms.
Later Eras[edit]
- 1132: Virus arrives at Sudhanega in the form of Vampire Fleets.
- 1153: the Empress Wave passes through the system.
Virus on Sudhaenga learned from planetary datastores of the rivalry between the world and neighboring Gzugo. The viral entities on Sudhaenga took on this hostility and refused to cooperate with viral entities present on Gzugo, which in turn responded with TL–12 Vampire ships launched from its enslaved shipyards. It was this infantile behavior by Virus that slowed its spread, as active entities became invested in petty issues.
