Palasha Subsector is subsector H of Massilia Sector.
- It is an Imperial core region that has been settled for millennia.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Palasha Subsector:
Astrographic Features[edit]
The subsector is a generally unremarkable area lying within the Imperial Core.
- It is an average stellar density region.
- The brightest star is the red giant primary of the Rudeen system.
Stellar Distribution[edit]
A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Palasha Subsector, right:
- The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
- The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.
Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.
- Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
- Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.
Trade Routes[edit]
A number of important trade routes lie within the region. High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels moving along them, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between their member worlds.
The Delphi Main[edit]
Most of the worlds of the subsector lie on the Delphi Main. The main has 95 member worlds and runs between Massilia and Delphi Sectors.
A basic chart of the Main is shown, right:
- Worlds lying on the Main are highlighted in green.
The Forquee Cluster[edit]
One world, on the spinward edge of the subsector, is a member of the Forquee Cluster. The cluster has 30 member systems.
A basic chart of the Cluster is shown, right:
- Worlds lying within the cluster are highlighted in tan.
World Listing[edit]
Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Palasha Subsector is available.
- The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
- Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
- Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:
Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.
- Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Polity Listing[edit]
The following polities can be found within this subsector:
Other Powers[edit]
- Ziru Sirka (historical)
- Rule of Man (historical)
Military Forces[edit]
The Palasha Subsector is defended by 220th Fleet.

No sophont species are believed to have originated in this subsector:
Demographics[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this area:
- Humaniti (Human races)
- Geonee (Minor Human Race): Small numbers may be found within the region
- Mixed heritage (Major Race): Widely spread across the region.
- Solomani (Major Race): Many genetically distinct individuals and communities.
- Vilani (Major Race): Many genetically distinct individuals and communities.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:
- Anglic: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Irkonee: The predominate language of the Geonee.
- Oynprith, a ceremonial and ritualistic language apparently universal among Chirper communities.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.

Subsector Summary[edit]
Palasha, subsector H of Massilia contains 32 worlds with an estimated population of 29 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,852, and a total economy is BCr265,102. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr16,029 through 30 starports (3 Class A, 16 Class B, 7 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 2,667,770 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, seven Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, five Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Palasha maintain four Naval bases, and three Scout bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Yan (Massilia 2718).
Palasha, subsector H of Massilia contains 43 stars and 343 identified planets; 24 monostellar systems, five binary systems, three trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 29 of the 32 systems (90%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, four Poor (Po) worlds, seven Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
