Ienji Subsector is Subsector B of Far Frontiers Sector.

Description / Specifications[edit]

Ienji Subsector is a frontier, lying on the rimward edge of the Zhodani Consulate. The resources of this subsector have been heavily exploited for millennia - there are no longer any major industrial powers within the region and very little in terms of easily extracted materials. This, combined with the shifting of colonial and military resources to other Consular frontiers, has left Ienji something of a backwater.

  • The easily exploitable resources of the subsector are largely depleted.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes[edit]

The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Ienji Subsector:

  • The subsector is an average stellar density region.
  • The brightest star is the red giant primary of the Jashashtiaz system.

Stellar Distribution[edit]

A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Ienji Subsector.

  • The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
  • The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.

Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.

  • Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
  • Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.

Borealis Group[edit]

The Borealis Group can be seen as a bright, dense, noticeable grouping of stars in the skies to Spinward-rimward.

The Borealis Group contains significant amounts of gas and dust that reflects and refracts the light of the stars, giving it an ethereal glow.

World Listing[edit]

Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Antideluvia subsector is available.

  • The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
  • Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.

AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:

Major Historical Events Timeline[edit]

These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this subsector and the wider region it lies within:

Summary[edit]

Ienji, subsector B of Far Frontiers, contains 26 worlds with an estimated combined population of 55 billion, a per capita income of Cr944, and a total economy of BCr52,640. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr89 through 15 starports (2 Class A, 4 Class B, 7 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 11,330 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Ienji maintain three Scout bases and two Naval bases. The average technology level is 5 (with most between 2 and 9). The highest technology level is 13 at Ienji (Far Frontiers 1101).

Ienji, subsector B of Far Frontiers, contains 40 stars and 297 identified planets; 12 monostellar systems, 14 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 23 of the 26 systems (88%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, one Desert (De) world, five Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Ienji has an estimated population of 55 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and four Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Fieedr (Far Frontiers 1004). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.

Zhodani Consulate, Iadr Nsobl Province[edit]

The Zhodani Consulate, Iadr Nsobl Province has jurisdiction over 17 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 54 billion, a per capita income of Cr946, and a total economy of BCr51,998. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr75 through 8 starports (1 Class A, 2 Class B, 3 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 8,390 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Zhodani Consulate, Iadr Nsobl Province maintain one Scout base and one Naval base within the subsector. The average technology level is 5 (with most between 1 and 9). The highest technology level is 13 at Ienji (Far Frontiers 1101).

The Zhodani Consulate, Iadr Nsobl Province has an estimated population of 54 billion within the subsector, distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, eight Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and three Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Fieedr (Far Frontiers 1004). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.
