Doklinchi is a high-population garden world with a billion or more sophonts in population size and a near-ideal utopian environment conducive to most sophonts.
- Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
- It is a world interdicted by the controlling Zhodani Consulate, located in the Ienji Subsector of Far Frontiers Sector.
- This is a "forbidden" world designated as a Red Zone with an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that make it extremely dangerous to visitors. Everyone is forbidden to travel here.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Doklinchi is a binary star system.
- Both are red main sequence stars.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x9 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Doklinchi is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Doklinchi has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Doklinchi has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly watery world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Doklinchi is a Forbidden World and is designated as a Red Zone. It presents serious risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that make it extremely dangerous to visitors.
- Travel to this world is prohibited.
When the civilization aboard the Sky Raiders' worldship fractured around -4200, they settled some of their people here. They intermixed with local remnants of the Vlazhdumecta, whose trade empire had been dismantled by the Zhodani.
Crash industrial development and construction over the course of almost two centuries led to Doklinchi becoming a self-sufficient space-faring power; until its raiding activities attracted the ire of the Zhodani Consulate.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Doklinchi does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Population (P)[edit]
Doklinchi has a population of 8,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- The population are descended from Vlazhdumecta, with some Loeskalth heritage.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
Local dialects, all largely descended from Vlazhdumecta, most with influence from Loes.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Doklinchi possesses a Technology Level of TL–1.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Runners or beast relay and long distance signaling such as the heliograph and semaphore.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Muscle power and water wheels.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Riding animals, rickshaws, carts or other creature-drawn wheeled vehicles.
- Water: Rowed galleys and early sailing vessels.
- Air: Typically not available unless a bodily ability or ride-able flying beasts available.
World Government (G)[edit]
Doklinchi is governed by a Religious Autocracy. This is a direct theocracy where the government head is a single person who is also the head of the religious organization. The Church hierarchy also serves as the government bureaucracy.
World Law (L)[edit]
Doklinchi has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A world with this law level may be an Amber Zone or a Red Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). Civilian movement is rigidly controlled. On worlds with this degree of law, it is difficult to distinguish the police from the military. On others, there is no difference.

- Importance: -1 (unimportant)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: B (abundant)
- Labor: 8 (hundreds of millions)
- Infrastructure: 5 (limited)
- Efficiency: +3 (improved)

- Heterogenity: D (fragmented)
- Acceptance: 8 (friendly)
- Strangeness: 9 (extremely confusing)
- Symbols: 5 (concrete)
