Description (Portfolio)[edit]
President of the Allarton Corporation board of directors Ardesh Varen was made Duke of Trelyn in an official ceremony at Capital/Core by Emperor Styryx. Two years later, Duke Varen arrived at Trelyn Vrra/Trelyn with a squadron of colonial cruisers and the Duchy of Trelyn was founded.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
A group of Imperial industrialists formed the Allarton Corporation in 941 to exploit and develop the non-aligned areas of the Trelyn Subsector. Resistance was met from the growing Eslyat Magistracy, but the coreward and spinward areas flourished. The Trelyn Domain was officially included as an Imperial Client State in 980 during the Third Frontier War.
To comply with the terms of its Imperial charter, the Allarton Corporation is theoretically limited to operating in the Trelyn Subsector. Trelyn Domain operations in neighbouring Coos Subsector are run by its wholly-owned subsidiary, the Pan-Melesien Company. Operations in the Far Frontiers Sector are under the wholly owned Artesian Company, based at Yster.
Vessels[edit]
Corporate vessels display a circular logo.
The Allarton Corporation owns nearly all shipyards within the Trelyn Domain, and produces all but a few speciality starship designs. To support smaller scale commercial activity and for sale to third parties, Allarton Yards produces the 400-ton Stellaris liner -- roughly based on the Third Imperium's Type-R subsidised merchant -- and the derivative Polaris freighter. Rather than providing a generalised freightliner, Allarton has a distinct split between the two models in terms of commercial capabilities.
