Description[edit]

A slice of the Tellerian Cluster (called the Telborne Spur) is located on the spinward border of the subsector.

Interestingly, the Trelyn Domain became what the Tellerian Cluster was intended at first to be and failed at: a bulwark from the Third Imperium to challenge Zhodani influence in the Vanguard Reaches.

Summary[edit]

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes[edit]

Trelyn Main. (Chart sourced from Traveller Map).

Trelyn Main[edit]

A number of worlds in the subsector are part of the eponymous Trelyn Main.

  • This stellar grouping has 23 member systems.

The Main lies almost entirely within the Trelyn Domain, a strongly pro-Imperial state. The only systems on the Main that aren't members of the Domain are Fomor (a member of the Domain of Alntzar), and non-aligned Dictic, both in Far Frontiers Sector to coreward.

A basic chart of the Main is shown, right:

History and Background[edit]

Coos Subsector is the origin point of the Emerling Plague.

Pre-Trelyn nations here included:

  • Karelian Association: Based on eponymous Karelian
  • Dysitin Empire: Dysitin Prime was once the centre of a small empire controlling three nearby systems, but when its failing technology proved unable to feed its own people, much less support an interstellar state, in 959 it shed its colonies and joined the Trelyn Domain in return for assistance.
