History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The most influentil religion in the subsector is Kikhushegi, the indigenous religion of Lazisar, derived from Islam with strong Vilani influence.

The Panos Settlement of 873 placed limits on Ducal eligibility in the Empty Quarter, subject to revision only by Prince Panos, his heirs, or the Emperor himself. The most important of the guidelines was tying the ethnicity of a ruling noble to their world, 'unless special circumstances dictate otherwise'. Only nobles of the various Human races native to Lazisar may rule the Duchy of Gimushi; no pure-blooded Vilani or Solomani may rule this duchy.
