Yogesh, subsector J of Empty Quarter, contains 15 worlds with an estimated combined population of 988 million, a per capita income of Cr1,663, and a total economy of BCr1,644. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr163 through 13 starports (4 Class A, 4 Class B, 4 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 30,855 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Yogesh maintain three Scout bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Miinagi (Empty Quarter 1129).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Panos Settlement of 873 placed limits on Ducal eligibility in the Empty Quarter, subject to revision only by Prince Panos, his heirs, or the Emperor himself. The most important of the guidelines was tying the ethnicity of a ruling noble to their world, 'unless special circumstances dictate otherwise'. The Duchy of Yogesh alternates between Bwap and Vilani/Mixed Vilani noble houses.
