Gasadim has a trace atmosphere and almost no surface water. The system has a population between 100 million and a billion sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Gimushi Subsector of Empty Quarter Sector and in the Domain of Antares. Gasadim, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the fiefdoms of a marquis and a viscount. All three are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.

Astrography and Planetology

The main world of Gasadim is a moon of the second and largest gas giant of the system.

History and Background

The colony has always been tightly controlled by the Moonity Corporation LIC which was established early in the Third Imperium and still maintains tight control over the colony. It was originally colonized as a great source of industrial gems with a fair amount of metals available as well.

Within the Imperial Empty Quarter, there are two surviving populations of Jonkeereen: the population on Gasadim is quite conservative. They aare an artificial human species, created by the Imperial Ministry of Colonization to live as nomads on desert worlds. While the majority of this race lives on Jonkeer (Deneb 1324) - and most of the remainder within the Domain of Deneb - a small pilot program was started in the Imperial Empty Quarter. While it ended up a failure due to the profound hostility of local Solomani cultures vis-a-vis artificially created humans, a remnant population survives on Gasadim (10,000) and Lukaau (Empty Quarter 0227) (40,000) in isolated ‘mobile villages’.
