Forcett Subsector is subsector H of Gateway Sector. It lies in the so-called Mixed Client States between the Third Imperium and the Two Thousand Worlds.
The systems surrounding the Swanfei Free Worlds typically have a long history of self-reliance and weren't keen on the creation of a multiworld government. The threat of K'Kree dominance has finally caused some to consider forming a defensive alliance or contributing to a joint force. In some cases this means donating money or hardware to the defence of the Renkard Union.
Description[edit]
The coreward end of Forcett has a handful of worlds separated by two-parsec gaps. This allows for a tenuous link from the Swanfei Free Worlds to the Akeena Union. Access to the Renkard Union, the Megusard Corporate, and the independent worlds of Renkard and Rattler subsectors is considerably easier. This is a mixed blessing considering the threat of the Lords of Thunder.
Summary[edit]
Forcett, subsector H of Gateway, contains 16 worlds with an estimated combined population of 1 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,783, and a total economy of BCr3,647. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr42 through 14 starports (2 Class A, 3 Class B, 8 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 16,025 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Forcett maintain one Naval base. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 12 at Mneomon (Gateway 3012).
Forcett, subsector H of Gateway, contains 18 stars and 163 identified planets; 14 monostellar systems, two binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 11 of the 16 systems (68%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, two Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Forcett has an estimated population of 1 billion distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Pirate's Haven (Gateway 2819) and Sandhaven (Gateway 2918). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

World Listing[edit]
History[edit]
The term "Four Subsectors" is frequently used within Gateway Sector to refer to Ashton, Castra, Forcett, and Riftin subsectors. Specifically, it refers to the various independent worlds in these subsectors, those not aligned with the Plavian League, the Trindel Confederacy, or the Megusard Corporate. This region carries a particular notoriety for piracy and lawlessness.
The Human race known as the Swanfeh migrated from an unknown homeworld during the Long Night into this region. They achieved a starfaring culture of some influence, spreading out to control around 30 worlds before gradually losing their technology over a period of centuries. The Swanfeh were isolated on several worlds when other Humans entered Gateway Sector, and either allied with or were conquered by various opportunist newcomer groups.
