Bolivar Subsector is very sparsely populated with stars.
- Bolivar subsector is an agricultural desert; there is only one agricultural world in the subsector, at Gaad (Dagudashaag 0235).
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Bolivar Subsector is defended by 83rd Fleet.
The interior of the subsector is dominated by the Dudin-Bolivar Rift, which forces even Jump-2 craft to take a circuitous route from one system to the other via Eddum and the Nimluin Cluster. Bolivar lies on the Gushemege Main which makes its' people somewhat aloof from the internal affairs of Dagudashaag. Bolivar is regarded as a 'troublemaker' by the rest of the sector.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Bolivar, subsector M of Dagudashaag, contains 29 worlds with an estimated combined population of 15 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,270, and a total economy of BCr94,542. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr3,335 through 28 starports (4 Class A, 10 Class B, 9 Class C, 5 Class D) employing 542,510 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Bolivar maintain ten Scout bases, and six Naval bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240), Ascension (Dagudashaag 0639), and Hana's Soujourn (Dagudashaag 0739).
Bolivar, subsector M of Dagudashaag, contains 38 stars and 337 identified planets; 20 monostellar systems, nine binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 24 of the 29 systems (82%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, one Desert (De) world, two Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, four Poor (Po) worlds, seven Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Bolivar has an estimated population of 15 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240), Nimluin (Dagudashaag 0736), and Eddum (Dagudashaag 0531). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.

Third Imperium[edit]
The Third Imperium, including the Amec Trade Protectorate subpolity, has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 15 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,270, and a total economy of BCr94,542. The governments in the Third Imperium maintain ten Scout bases and six Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240), Ascension (Dagudashaag 0639), and Hana's Soujourn (Dagudashaag 0739).
The Third Imperium has an estimated population of 15 billion within the subsector, distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240), Nimluin (Dagudashaag 0736), and Eddum (Dagudashaag 0531). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.
- The Third Imperium subsector capital of Bolivar is Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240).
- The capital of the Amec Trade Protectorate is Eddum (Dagudashaag 0531).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The astrographical make-up of the region heavily restricted settlement during the Ziru Sirka. The Bolivar system itself was settled by the Solomani during the Rule of Man. Originally known as Eddum, the subsector was renamed when the ducal court was transferred to Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240) in 421.
The Universal Church of God is influential in this subsector.
The Bolivar Terraforming Initiative is working to prepare worlds in this subsector for greater colonization, to releive population pressures elsewhere in the sector.
Polity Listing: 1105[edit]
The following polities can be found within this subsector:
- Independent Powers (Pocket Empires)
- None
- Non-Aligned Powers (World-States)
- None
- Other Powers
- None
- Third Imperium (Imperial powers)
- Amec Trade Protectorate
- Various member systems and worlds.
In 605, Ixtlilpopoca Sanchez instigated a bloodless revolution on Eddum (Dagudashaag 0531) and Shumuu (Dagudashaag 0631), founding the Amec Trade Protectorate, and using these worlds as bases to build a war machine. With the Treaty of Chicometli in 615, Ixtlilpopoca succeeded in getting the Ducal office to recognize the Protectorate's cultural independence; in return the Protectorate remained officially allied with the Imperium. This gave Ixtlilpopoca the power to declare himself supreme Tlatoani of the people.
After the conclusion of the Civil War, Arbellatra reviewed the events and treaty and stripped Duke Ghani of his position and ducal titles. In his place was appointed Duke Viisarlkaa Jalandri. To the surprise of Ixtlilpopoca, the new Duke honored the agreement and even allowed the worlds of Anshaar and Mimku to rejoin the Protectorate.

- 133-605: Taking advantage of the Civil War, Ixtlilpopoca Sanchez declares independence from the Imperium.
- Duke Ghani Bolivar sends personal representation to Sanchez begging him to reconsider his actions. Sanchez replies by capturing the messenger ship and refitting it as part of his ever-growing navy.
- 608: Sanchez controls Kinhe, Anshaar, and Mimku in addition to Eddum.
- Duke Bolivar and his small fleet of privateers, backed up by two war cruisers, back Sanchez into a mutual no-win situation.

- The Amec Tlatoani is persuaded to move to Syrna in Zeda Subsector while the Protectorate mobilises all of its forces into a massive recovery operation.
- 1014-1018: Several attacks on ships while in Amec Protectorate space are made by the Ba'Xipe Totec corsairs.
