History and background[edit]

Records from the Second Imperium show this world was inhabited by Chirpers.

This planet holds a agnostic society that dislikes having to make contact with other cultures. Open statements of religious beliefs are banned, and missionaries from any faith are liable to execution without trial if suspected of 'preaching'. Only the most trusted personnel are allowed to work at Nimluin's single ground port. These are few in number are are so frequently overworked they simply close the starport down to all traffic until they have caught up with the backlog. In these circumstances a few ships running low on fuel have attempted to ocean refuel, and have fallen foul of the local wet naval patrol ships which will shoot to destroy. This response is seen as justified for the crime of "theft of eco-resources".

The scout base provides facilities for the IISS ships because of the harsh response of the government, but it is a token presence only.
