Feym'n is a moderate population world with a population size of over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Bolivar Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Feym'n, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdom of a viscount. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Immu Pin.
Astrography and planetology[edit]
Feym'n is a member of the As On As Cluster.
Most starships entering the Feym'n system only stop to refuel before moving on. There are some brave souls who can make money trading in the entertainment media which are very popular here -- and from emigrants willing to pay to leave.
Stellar Data[edit]
History and Background[edit]
Feym'n is the kind of place that foreigners on other planets come from, that is more people emigrate than immigrate. A token government exists but the lack of a judicial, legal, and law enforcement systems led the world to degenerate into the lawless black spot of Bolivar. The IISS has stepped in and enforced a basic law system which prevents the possibility of mass murder though not much else. The IISS operatives posted here regard it as a punishment posting.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Feym'n has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:
- Core Anglic: One of the principal dialects of one of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Sall: The predominate language of Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240), also spoken as a common second language in surrounding subsectors.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
