Göheimsan (language)
A language used by the Scanian culture; an unlikely hybrid language apparently descended from 22nd Century Terran Hebrew, Arabic, and Russian.

Description[edit]
The Göheimsan language is used only during religious and state ceremonies or when discussing Scanian philosophy. Göheimsan is spoken as a second language by almost all Scanians and is rarely heard by non-Scanians.

• Acathi: "Elders"; the term is used to refer to a little-known extinct species from Remnants Subsector.
• Akiva: "Spirit of Co-operation"; the name given to the planet on which the Scanian philosophy formed (Dagudashaag 0935).
• Avi'Di: "Law Giver"; the person holding this title is chosen from the people by the Sanhedra Ben Hakhamim.
B-F[edit]
• Ba'ko-ba: Secondary star of Akiva.
• Ba-Rab'i: "Sons of Knowledge".
G[edit]
• Gate Babha'ti: Court dealing with governmental law.
• Gate Bah'ezi: Court dealing with contract law, including marriage contracts.
• Gate Bakamaa: Court dealing with all monetary matters.
H-L[edit]
• Hedyo't: A judge's council. This consists of any three Scanians who are considered totally impartial. Any judgement reached is considered legal.
• Kokhba: Primary star of Akiva.
M-Q[edit]
• Malaach: "Messengers from Beyond". Generally applied to all extinct races that had achieved a technologically based society; more specifically, it is a name attached to the mysterious extinct race who actually called themselves the Shassahhrhi.
• Nasii: Military and Governmental ruler, who is chosen by election of the populace.
• Nehuitei: A caste of Scanian messenger-traders, established in 663.
• Omaat-Ba'Shahaam: A Trading House.

• Rab: Generic term for "teacher"; From the Hebrew.
• Rab'an: "Scholar".
• Rab'ani: "Scholars". Sometimes written Rabbani.

• Sanhedra be' Imau: Council of Advisors.
• Sanhedra Ben Hakhamim: Council of Scholars. More accurately, it describes Hakham (Hebrew, "wise or skillful man") rather than scholars.
• Sanhedra Ket'ana: Council consisting of 23 Judges.
• Sanhedra: "Council of Knowledge". From the Hebrew, Sanhedrin.
• Sanheichiir: "Little Knife of the Mind". A group of psionics.
• Sanrab'i: "First Knowledge-giver".
• Savo'raim: Scholars of the Path, the "high priests" of Scanian teaching.
• Savoraim be' Mirkigii: A major college of Scanian philosophy.

• Ve'dtok: "Path of True Seeing". Each Scanian is trained to constantly examine their surroundings so they can read the 'truth' in all circumstances.
• Ve'lma Iphka: "Perhaps the opposite holds true..."
• Ve'lma: "Opposite".
• Yarhei Kel'a: "The Time of Testing"; a period of 30 days each year in which Scanian followers take time off from their employment to attend a local Centre of Knowledge.
• Yarhei Ve'lma: Loosely, "Time of Opposites"; a school established by famous Rabban Halc Shagraa.
