Subsector E of Trojan Reach Sector.

The Yggdrasil Subsector was originally settled by the Floriani starting in -150.

  • During the Sindalian Empire, the worlds of Yggdrasil and Forandin were settled, and the Empire named most of the subsector's planets, once surveyed, for Norse mythology.
  • As the Florian League grew, it renamed the majority of these worlds.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Yggdrasil Subsector is the hub of the Florian League, containing the capital, prison world, and government retirement world, along with most of the Florian Main. It is the heart of Florian Space.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Yggdrasil, subsector E of Trojan Reach, contains 22 worlds with an estimated combined population of 14 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,278, and a total economy of BCr75,207. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr312 through 19 starports (4 Class A, 9 Class B, 2 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 81,920 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Yggdrasil maintain seven Naval bases, and seven Military bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Floria (Trojan Reach 0213) and Insec (Trojan Reach 0317).

Yggdrasil, subsector E of Trojan Reach, contains 35 stars and 248 identified planets; nine monostellar systems, 13 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 20 of the 22 systems (90%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, three Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Yggdrasil has an estimated population of 14 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, nine Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Garnl (Trojan Reach 0516) and Floria (Trojan Reach 0213). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

2 identified sophont populations in Yggdrasil

Florian League[edit]

The Florian League has jurisdiction over 18 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 14 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,307, and a total economy of BCr74,925. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr310 through 15 starports (3 Class A, 7 Class B, 2 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 80,965 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Florian League maintain seven Naval bases and seven Military bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Floria (Trojan Reach 0213) and Insec (Trojan Reach 0317).

The Florian League has an estimated population of 14 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, seven Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Garnl (Trojan Reach 0516) and Floria (Trojan Reach 0213). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group, a native sophont (Floriani).

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]

There are three Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Yggdrasil with an estimated combined population of 100 million.

Client state, Third Imperium[edit]

The Client states of the Third Imperium in Yggdrasil encompass one world with an estimated population of 30 million.
