* -2235 to -2219: A family of Solomani traders, the Menderes, establish lucrative trade routes along the Mendan Main.
 +
* -1658: the Sack of Gashikan, an atrocity known throughout the coreward parts of Charted Space.
 +
* -1483 to -321: the Gashikan Race Wars rage between human and Vargr extremists across the Extents.
 +
* -321: Karik Menderes of Menderes Corporation raises all Menderes Vargr to the status of employees.
 +
** This starts a movement that makes slavery illegal on Asimikigir by -302.
 +
* -275: Tran Menderes breaks precedent by accepting a Vargr offer to carry Menderes goods off planet. Until now, Kudukara Lines, the principle transport line of the Second Empire of Gashikan, has carried all goods for the region.
 +
* (175 to 191): Julian War; the region unites to fight off the Third Imperium as it attempts to incorporate Amdukan, Mendan and Meshan sectors by force.
 +
* Early 600s: After centuries of increasingly common peaceful (if wary) interaction, the Hhkar Sphere joins the Julian Protectorate.
 +
* 933-936: The defection of the Damlaer Union from the Julian Protectorate to the Hegemony of Lorean leads to the Lorean Strikes. Failed military action leads to a major political crisis within the Protectorate.
 +
* 940: As part of this political upheaval, the government of the Ikonaz Sphere collapses, replaced by the Rukadukaz Republic.
 +
* 942: The Protectorate and the Hegemony formally sign the Treaty of Var-Inaka (restricting naval basing) and the Julian Concord, incorporating the Hegemony into the Julian Protectorate.
 +
* 1070: The Second Empire of Gashikan is shattered by civil war.
 +
** In the aftermath, while many Gashikan systems recoalesce into the Third Empire of Gashikan, others form the Commonwealth of Mendan and instead join the Julian Protectorate.

Description / Specifications[edit]

No information yet available.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Armi, subsector C of Mendan, contains 24 worlds with an estimated combined population of 744 million, a per capita income of Cr2,739, and a total economy of BCr2,038. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr147 through 22 starports (5 Class A, 8 Class B, 7 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 16,520 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Armi maintain seven Military bases and three Naval bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 12). The highest technology level is 13 at Dukush (Mendan 1704) and Husirikii (Mendan 2005).

Armi, subsector C of Mendan, contains 32 stars and 277 identified planets; 16 monostellar systems, eight binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 19 of the 24 systems (79%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, one Desert (De) world, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, four Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Armi has an estimated population of 744 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Laemadud (Mendan 1901), Gashirke (Mendan 2101), and Khukashi (Mendan 2210). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.

Julian Protectorate, Commonwealth of Mendan[edit]

The Julian Protectorate, Commonwealth of Mendan has jurisdiction over 23 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 744 million, a per capita income of Cr2,739, and a total economy of BCr2,038. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr147 through 21 starports (4 Class A, 8 Class B, 7 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 16,515 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Julian Protectorate, Commonwealth of Mendan maintain six Military bases and three Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Husirikii (Mendan 2005).

The Julian Protectorate, Commonwealth of Mendan has an estimated population of 744 million within the subsector, distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, nine Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Laemadud (Mendan 1901), Gashirke (Mendan 2101), and Khukashi (Mendan 2210). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]

There is one Non-Aligned Human-dominated world in Armi with an estimated population of less than 1 million.
