Modern Gashikan

The state language of the Third Empire of Gashikan (and the Second Empire of Gashikan before it).

The Gashikan's Yilean founders have had a single language for more than 6,000 years, but it was updated with concepts borrowed from other Human languages. Their time as part of the First Imperium led to widespread adoption of the Vilani language, so the Modern Gashikan tongue contains numerous Vilani loan words. Some dialects also draw from Anglic, due to that language's prominence during the Second Imperium, or Rule of Man. These dialects are sometimes labelled "Coranglic" (coreward Anglic).
