Pact Subsector is the most densely-populated and technologically-advanced of all the subsectors in Dagudashaag Sector. The subsector is named after the Medurma Pact, a petty state which dominated this region between -500 and -10.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Pact Subsector is defended by 209th Fleet.

As befits such a region, it is a communications hub and the majority of the traffic between Core and Gushemege pass through this area. The open trading policies of the Medurman government have allowed high technology to “spill over” into surrounding systems. Most of the systems between Campbell and Dipa are at or above TL-13.

As one Imperial economist once said

“... The Dashi-Khusgulur-Argi triangle is a true industrial powerhouse.”

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Pact, subsector K of Dagudashaag, contains 39 worlds with an estimated combined population of 95 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,932, and a total economy of BCr851,758. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr12,331 through 39 starports (11 Class A, 10 Class B, 14 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 2,336,185 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, eight Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Pact maintain 14 Scout bases, eight Naval bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Campbell (Dagudashaag 1722), Dipa (Dagudashaag 2223), and Theetasigni (Dagudashaag 2226).

Pact, subsector K of Dagudashaag, contains 51 stars and 400 identified planets; 28 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 33 of the 39 systems (84%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, four Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, six Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, eight Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Pact has an estimated population of 95 billion distributed across five High population (Hi) worlds, five Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 17 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Dipa (Dagudashaag 2223). The population consists primarily of 6 sophont groups including four native sophonts.
