Mainworld Data[edit]

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Station Two is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Station Two has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Station Two has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

History and Background[edit]

Medurma Main.jpg

The port is maintained as a near-automatic facility serviced by personnel from MMSL. It is one of a chain of ten stations established on desolate planets throughout the sector at the time of the initial Third Imperium infiltration. They were intended to monitor potential trouble spots such as the Medurma Pact. They were discontinued in 342 and most of the bases were renamed and handed over to the IISS. Station Two was considered relatively useless and the base was simply stripped.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Station Two has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
