Ikabi has the population located in one or more dwarf planets or planetesimals in a co-orbital position, an asteroid belt. The system has a population over one billion. It has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. This world is designated an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.  The world has a colony on Cocor (Dagudashaag 2030). It is a member of Third Imperium in the Pact Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Ikabi, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdom of a count. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. During the Long Night this world was named Ikabi.

History and background[edit]

Classed as one of the "Warrior Worlds", the population consists almost totally of members of the Kuunite Cult which is loosely based on Shinto; ancestor worship. The planet is home to several sects of Kuuni of varying fanaticism from the moderate Tchio, to the self-flagellation and self-mutilation of the Rhi.

Regardless of which sect they follow, all kuunites believe that their sole reason for existence is to be warriors. Kuunites are generally xenophobic in the extreme but off-worlders are safe while on-planet as kuunites would not wish to pollute the holy sites of their religion. Kuuni teaches that entry to paradise is guaranteed to those who slay unbelievers in battle. For this reason Ikabi has always been a major supplier of well-trained mercenary troops throughout the Imperium.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Ikabi has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
