Ishigumam is a vacuum world, with a complete lack of atmosphere. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Pact Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Ishigumam, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. The system supports both an Imperial Naval Base and a Scout Base with the additional starship traffic. During the Long Night this world was named Andin Ur.

History and Background

A large asteroid which initially attracted colonization as a result of its mineral wealth. The cities are hollowed out of the rock and much of its oxygen is mined from surrounding asteroids. The asteroid was obviously part of a small planet which exploded millennia before and archaeologists believe that it may have contained sentient life going by the few relics discovered amongst the debris.

World Starport (St)

Ishigumam has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• There is an associated Imperial Naval Base, hosting elements of the 209th Fleet.
