Mu'izzi is a rich, agricultural garden world with a near-ideal, utopian environment conducive to most sophonts.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Solomani Confederation in the Firdausi Subsector of Aldebaran Sector.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Mu'izzi has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld. It orbits within the habitable zone.
- x7 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 gas giants, named Thea'exep and Moquev.
A modest industrial centre was built on Clibique, an otherwise undesirable cold secondary world orbiting in the outer part of the habitable zone, in order to avoid being beholden (and paying taxes) to the mainworld government.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mu'izzi orbits within the prime region of its star's habitable zone.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Mu'izzi is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Mu'izzi has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.
- It experiences generally moderate temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Mu'izzi has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Mu'izzi is a member of the Palermo Cluster, a small but important trade route lying close to the coreward-trailing edge of Aldebaran Sector.
The Mu'izzi system is the trailing entry and exit point for the Cluster, providing jump-2 links to Firdausi, Rudaki and Acerbas. This in turn gives access to the economic zones to trailing, rimward, and even (via Firdausi) to the Grand United States of Quesada.
The system isn't as well developed as others in the cluster, with most industry centered on the mainworld.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Mu'izzi has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The downport and startown are located in an artificial oasis, surrounded by a sandy desert. A series of concentric walls and berms keep most sand out of the city, with automated street-clearing vehicles in constant action to remove any that does get in. Buildings have transparent or slightly opaque roofs in public areas, with lush green parks between them. Although visually impressive, the downport has a rather strained elegance, noted for overpriced shops and a rather unwelcoming attitude.
World Population (P)[edit]
Mu'izzi has a population of 20,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
- The population almost entirely consists of Solomani humans.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Rim Anglic, a dialect of Anglic and the principal language of the Confederation.
Urbanization[edit]
Cities include Nueva Cadaques.
Mu'izzi is noted for the wide-gauge transcontinental railways linking its startown to all other major cities.
The planet was settled in an uncoordinated manner by multiple groups which then joined together to create a world state in fits and starts. As a result the cities were laid out in a haphazard manner which made internal logistics a problem. The solution to this was to move industry to the outskirts and build manufacturing zones with their own rail terminals.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Mu'izzi possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Mu'izzi is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is by representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referenda, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.
World Military[edit]
Mu'izzi's military craft consist mainly of short-range interceptors operating around the homeworld and low-end patrol craft in the 600–800 ton range. These are set up for lengthy sublight operations rather than heavy combat.
World Law (L)[edit]
Mu'izzi has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 4 (important)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 9 (moderate)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: 9 (extensive)
- Efficiency: -2 (fair)
World Culture[edit]
The people of Mu'izzi are generally reserved; not hostile, but generally unwilling to fully trust outsiders until a good relationship has been established. This is reflected in the practice of charging "offworlder prices" for most goods and an unwillingness to negotiate despite it being commonplace among locals.
- Heterogenity: A (discordant)
- Acceptance: B (extremely friendly)
- Strangeness: 2 (typical)
- Symbols: A (abstract)
