Subsector F of Alpha Crucis Sector.
Almost the entirety of Auva lies within the borders of the Solomani Confederation.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Solomani's Alpha Crucis Central Fleet is based here. It serves as a rapid-reaction reserve for the whole sector, receiving ships from the strategic reserve on a rotating basis.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Auva, subsector F of Alpha Crucis, contains 35 worlds with an estimated combined population of 168 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,397, and a total economy of BCr1,242,845. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,029 through 31 starports (4 Class A, 14 Class B, 10 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 292,370 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, seven Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and four Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Auva maintain six Naval bases and five Military bases. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 9 and 13). The highest technology level is 14 at Water (Alpha Crucis 0912), Drydock (Alpha Crucis 1211), Beltan (Alpha Crucis 1218), Clearski (Alpha Crucis 1511), Karden (Alpha Crucis 1515), and Newton (Alpha Crucis 1616).
Auva, subsector F of Alpha Crucis, contains 56 stars and 390 identified planets; 14 monostellar systems, 21 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 26 of the 35 systems (74%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Auva has an estimated population of 168 billion distributed across six High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Castanak (Alpha Crucis 0913), Water (Alpha Crucis 0912), and Sarmqir (Alpha Crucis 1217). The population consists of 4 extant sophont groups including one native sophont. One native sophont is extinct.

The Solomani Confederation has jurisdiction over 29 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 168 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,379, and a total economy of BCr1,239,749. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,013 through 26 starports (3 Class A, 12 Class B, 8 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 288,455 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and four Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Solomani Confederation maintain five Naval bases and five Military bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 9 and 13). The highest technology level is 14 at Water (Alpha Crucis 0912), Drydock (Alpha Crucis 1211), Clearski (Alpha Crucis 1511), and Newton (Alpha Crucis 1616).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Vilani originally explored most of Auva but established only a few permanent colonies. Many more worlds were colonized by the Solomani during the Interstellar Wars-era and Rule of Man.
- Auva was largely unscathed by the Solomani Rim War; only a few Imperial Navy raiding vessels penetrated into the subsector to bombard military and industrial targets.
Security & Defense[edit]
The worlds of the region are patrolled by the Solomani Navy. It defends Confederation territory, protects Confederation interests, suppresses piracy, and ensures interstellar trade and commerce.
- Confederation vessels may demand customs inspections.
- Some systems are defended by local naval forces.
- This subsector is the standard posting for the Alpha Crucis Central Fleet, which is a rapid-response reserve force for any situation arising in the sector's Confederation territory.
The Solomani Navy operates couriers and packet ships to carry communications and mail within the Confederation. Some of the routes they make use of predate the founding of the Solomani Autonomous Region in the early 8th Century, while others have more modern origins, being established following the Solomani Rim War and Solomani independence.
- Multiple communications routes cross the subsector.
