Drydock is a poor, high-population world and a member of the Solomani Confederation.

• Drydock was an early adherent to the Solomani Movement, sending a large delegation to the first Movement meeting on Terra (Solomani Rim 1827) in 685. During the Solomani Rim War, in 1002 a reinforced wing of Solomani system defense boats drove off a small Imperial task force. Drifting wrecks can still found in and around Drydock’s largest gas giant.
• A current leader of the Solomani Party's Purist faction is Drydock planetary chairman Joshua Nass, who recently inaugurated a large-scale program requiring non-Solomani to accept sterilization if they wished to receive social benefits.

World Starport

Drydock has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
