Description (Specifics)

Parsi Subsector is in an interesting position, socio-politically, being situated between the heart of the Vilani cultural sphere around Vland and the Lancian Cultural Region immediately to spinward, in Corridor. The native cultures of the latter -- Lancian, Graytch, S'mrii -- often have long-simmering resentment of brutal Vilani conquests and pacifications in past eras. Meanwhile, the systems in most of Parsi, including the homeworld of the native Human race, the Answerin, have been solidly Vilani-aligned since before the Ziru Sirka. Despite some mutual discomfort and quiet hostility, this subsector sees great exchange between two of the most vibrant regions of the Third Imperium.

The Vilani Main

The great Vilani Main, the mighty trade artery of the Ziru Sirka, extends through the subsector. All but a handful of worlds in the core-spinward corner are members.

The governments in Parsi maintain 13 Scout bases, 11 Naval bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 7 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Nurrungar (Vland 0234), Parsi (Vland 0336), and Aquacade (Vland 0640).
