The subsector borders both Solomani Rim and Neworld sectors. Ziusudra lies entirely within the Solomani Confederation borders, though both the systems of Scathe and Rosaro are located adjacent to the border of the Imperium.

Ziusudra, subsector M of Alpha Crucis contains 30 worlds with an estimated population of 80 billion, a per capita income of Cr10,108, and a total economy is BCr810,914. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr3,836 through 26 starports (6 Class A, 8 Class B, 8 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 580,290 people. Driving this interstellar trade are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Ziusudra maintain six Naval bases, and five Military bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Scathe (Alpha Crucis 0231), Fogo (Alpha Crucis 0233), and Kirchkoff (Alpha Crucis 0636).

Ziusudra was an early outpost of Terran explorers, who according to local legend first visited it during the Seventh Interstellar War, although the current Solomani population arrived in the Rule of Man.
