Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Denebola, subsector I of Alpha Crucis, contains 30 worlds with an estimated combined population of 126 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,339, and a total economy of BCr924,740. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,960 through 23 starports (5 Class A, 6 Class B, 8 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 308,390 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Denebola maintain two Naval bases and two Military bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Leisz (Alpha Crucis 0121).

Denebola, subsector I of Alpha Crucis, contains 43 stars and 324 identified planets; 19 monostellar systems, nine binary systems, two trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 26 of the 30 systems (86%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, five Poor (Po) worlds, seven Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Denebola has an estimated population of 126 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Phoenix (Alpha Crucis 0221) and Turin (Alpha Crucis 0630). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Solomani Confederation[edit]

The Solomani Confederation has jurisdiction over 14 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 41 billion, a per capita income of Cr10,198, and a total economy of BCr425,348. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr753 through 10 starports (3 Class A, 3 Class B, 2 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 135,300 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Solomani Confederation maintain two Naval bases and two Military bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Salcedo (Alpha Crucis 0427) and Turin (Alpha Crucis 0630).

The Solomani Confederation has an estimated population of 41 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Turin (Alpha Crucis 0630). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Third Imperium[edit]

The Third Imperium has jurisdiction over nine worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 80 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,844, and a total economy of BCr472,799. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,165 through 8 starports (1 Class A, 3 Class B, 3 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 162,960 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 8 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Leisz (Alpha Crucis 0121).

The Third Imperium has an estimated population of 80 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, one Moderate population (Ph) world, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Phoenix (Alpha Crucis 0221). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The subsector was first settled by Solomani colonists from the Terran Confederation following the Ninth Interstellar War. The Alpha Crucis Foundation organized the Coreward colonization efforts, with many Christian immigrants settling on Turin and its neighboring worlds. During the Long Night these worlds formed the Consolidation of Turin, a commonwealth united by strong belief in a shared religion.

Denebola straddles the border between the Third Imperium and the Solomani Confederation. During the Solomani Rim War, the Imperium conquered nine systems in the subsector along a two-parsec-wide stretch of its spinward edge. The remaining worlds are within the Solomani Confederation's boundaries.

The two most important worlds in the subsector are Turin and the non-aligned Bali.
