Zazish is a nonindustrial water world, which has 90% or more of its surface covered in an ocean of water.

  • The inhabitants of this world live on the roughly 10% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
  • As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
  • The world serves as the subsector capital with the significant extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
  • It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Standish Subsector of Daibei Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
  • This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
  • It also contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling IISS starships and personnel.

World Starport[edit]

Zazish has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Zazish possesses a Technology Level of TL–15 or TL-F in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Zazish is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government is another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. Negative Efficiency is worse. Efficiency at -1 or less turn the RUs available negative: the Inefficiencies are so destructive as to make the economy a net drain. Such barriers represent a welfare state; cultural influences which do not value wealth, even physical limitations. On the other hand, since some economies have positive efficiencies: positive multipliers increasing available RU. )
