Sinai has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

• It experiences generally moderate temperatures.

Sinai has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Sinai is a member of the Orizaba Cluster, a small cluster and minor trade route lying within the coreward-trailing quadrant of Aldebaran Sector.

The colonists here are native Europans, and thus fairly cosmopolitan.

The population follows the Church of Quesada. The Quesadan Inquisition has no authority on the world.

Solomani Security keeps a close eye on things to ensure the security of the Solomani State and the well-being of its loyal citizens. Almost anyone could be a SolSec informant, passing on all sorts of useful information: some gain a reward or benefit for their actions, others are coerced, while many see it as an act of duty to help protect the the State and its interests.

World Starport (St)

Sinai has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Population (P)

Sinai has a population of 30,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).

• This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
• Around 95% of the population (roughly 28,500 individuals) consists of Solomani humans.
• Around 5% of the population (approximately 1500 individuals) is made up of Dolphins.

Urbanization

The Sinai Downport is the current main urban center, with a small but growing Sinai Outtown immediately outside the C-ring (planned).

• Latin, an ancient Terran language used by the Church of Quesada.
• Delphinic Trinary, the principal language of Dolphins.
• Rim Anglic, a dialect of Anglic and the principal language of the Confederation.
