Orrgueg Subsector is Subsector C of Tuglikki Sector.

Description / Specifications[edit]

One world within Orrgueg Subsector is under the control of the Bakne Alliance. Most of the region, however, is neutral space, and is as chaotic as any area within the Vargr Extents.

  • The resources of the subsector are being exploited.
  • Many worlds within the region are involved with the interstellar slave trade.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes[edit]

The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Orrgueg Subsector:

Stellar Distribution[edit]

A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Orrgueg Subsector.

  • The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
  • The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.

Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.

  • Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
  • Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.

World Listing[edit]

AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:

Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, is likely to be out of date.

  • Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
  • Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.
  • Verified updated data is constantly sought.

Subsector Summary[edit]

Orrgueg, subsector C of Tuglikki, contains 19 worlds with an estimated population of 7 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,443, and a total economy of BCr39,768. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr674 through 16 starports (6 Class A, 6 Class B, 3 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 108,075 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Orrgueg maintain seven Naval bases and two Corsair bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 6 and 12). The highest technology level is 13 at Okh Odzaeg (Tuglikki 2204).

Orrgueg, subsector C of Tuglikki, contains 23 stars and 253 identified planets; 16 monostellar systems, two binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 19 of the 19 systems (100%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, one Poor (Po) world, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Orrgueg has an estimated population of 7 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Okh Odzaeg (Tuglikki 2204). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Non-Aligned, Vargr-dominated[edit]

There are 17 Non-Aligned Vargr-dominated worlds in Orrgueg with an estimated combined population of 6 billion.

Bakne Alliance[edit]

The Bakne Alliance has jurisdiction over two worlds in the subsector with an estimated population of 700 million, a per capita income of Cr4,687, and a total economy of BCr3,281. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr8 through 2 starports (1 Class A, 1 Class B, 0 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 1,280 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Bakne Alliance maintain one Naval base within the subsector.

The Bakne Alliance has an estimated population of 700 million within the subsector, distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, no Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Duegogukdars (Tuglikki 1809). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
