Subsector H of Reaver's Deep Sector. The Nightrim Subsector is the most populated subsector in the Deep, containing almost 20% of the sector's populace and fully two-thirds of the Imperial presence.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Nightrim Subsector is defended by 47th Fleet.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Nightrim, subsector H of Reaver's Deep, contains 28 worlds with an estimated combined population of 132 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,553, and a total economy of BCr1,129,077. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr3,700 through 23 starports (5 Class A, 8 Class B, 9 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 679,985 people. Driving this interstellar trade are ten Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, six Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Nightrim maintain seven Naval bases and two Scout bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Khakhan (Reaver's Deep 3220).
Nightrim, subsector H of Reaver's Deep, contains 41 stars and 306 identified planets; 16 monostellar systems, 11 binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 24 of the 28 systems (85%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, six Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, four Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Nightrim has an estimated combined population of 132 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Khakhan (Reaver's Deep 3220) and St. George (Reaver's Deep 2616). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Third Imperium, Domain of Ilelish[edit]
The Third Imperium, Domain of Ilelish has jurisdiction over 25 worlds within the subsector, with an estimated combined population of 132 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,540, and a total economy of BCr1,127,321. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr3,688 through 21 starports (5 Class A, 7 Class B, 8 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 676,595 people. Driving this interstellar trade are nine Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in the Third Imperium, Domain of Ilelish maintain seven Naval bases and two Scout bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Khakhan (Reaver's Deep 3220).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Imperium dominates this subsector, ruling over all but one world, (Roye/Nightrim (Reaver's Deep 2511)).
- Two worlds (Orkney and Maiden) form the Dienbach Grÿpen, an autonomously governed region that has been quarantined by the Imperium.
- This quarantine is monitored by the scout base at neighboring Khagish.
Historical Data[edit]
The subsector was initially settled by Vilani refugees from the First Imperium, and a Vilani dialect continues to be the primary language on many of its major worlds.
A scout named Purcell established the Nightrim spur of the X-boat Route.
Ahead of the Solomani Rim War, a small Solomani Confederation task force led by Commodore Fidel Scheinberg slipped into Imperial space here at Sheffield. Employing cruisers disguised as Aslan ships, this Task Force Scheinberg launched a series of hit-and-run raids on shipping in Nightrim and neighbouring Woomera Subsector, which diverted Imperial resources.
