Mzimbe is a poor, nonindustrial desert hellworld with a population struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants. Survivors often develop intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
- This world has no free-standing water.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Dashinshaii Subsector of Gushemege Sector in the Domain of Vland.
- This world has an Imperial Scout base, capable of handling IISS starships and personnel.
- This world was colonized by and is controlled from Kamurinmur.
- It is a member of the Gushemege Main.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Mzimbe has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x4 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Mzimbe is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Mzimbe has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. This atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds, which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Mzimbe has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
The world has abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche.
- Native life thrives in extremely arid conditions.
A notable species of fauna are Whega, sheep-sized bulbous invertabrates that live beneath the desert's surface and whose reproductive glands secrete a chemical that is much prized by the Aslan as an aromatic oil.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
In 1115, Mzimbe became embroiled in a civil war when the tribal Laout rose up against the Abact Corporation, who had run the world's Whega trade.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Mzimbe has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
- The world is host to a Scout Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Mzimbe has a population of 60,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
World Languages[edit]
The following languages are most commonly heard:
- Anglic, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Ushi, a significant dialect used throughout Gushemege Sector.

World Government (G)[edit]
Mzimbe has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. This is a colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.
World Law (L)[edit]
Mzimbe has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended.
