Mongrebi Subsector is subsector P of Zarushagar Sector.
- It is an Imperial core region that has been settled for millennia.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Mongrebi Subsector:
Astrographic Features[edit]
The subsector is a generally unremarkable area lying within the Imperial Core.
- It is an average stellar density region.
- The marginally brightest star is the white main sequence primary of the Mongrebi system.
Stellar Distribution[edit]
A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Mongrebi Subsector.
- The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
- The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.
(Chart sourced from Traveller Map)
Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.
- Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
- Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.
Astrographic Features & Trade Routes: 1105[edit]
The following astrographic features, trade routes, mains, clusters, and traces can be found within this area:
World Listing[edit]
Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Mongrebi Subsector is available.
- The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
- Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
- Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:
Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.
- Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.
History[edit]
There is an amber zone triangle of worlds that never quite accepted Imperial sovereignty or adapted to Imperial interstellar cultural norms. These worlds, the Onojuii Triangle, are more than a little strange and Travellers are warned to be cautious when travelling the triangle.
The Mongrebi Subsector is defended by 165th Fleet.
Mongrebi Subsector is a major trade corridor full of places to sell and buy profitable goods.
- It is full of Imperial Nobility and built-up urbanized planets.
- There is much talk of building at least one jump bridge to allow contiguous coreward-rimward J-1 traffic.

Subsector Summary[edit]
Mongrebi, subsector P of Zarushagar contains 37 worlds with an estimated population of 23 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,007, and a total economy is BCr118,227. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr5,002 through 35 starports (5 Class A, 17 Class B, 7 Class C, 6 Class D) employing 799,490 people. Driving this interstellar trade are nine Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Mongrebi maintain six Naval bases, five Scout bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Overton (Zarushagar 3133).
Mongrebi, subsector P of Zarushagar contains 59 stars and 394 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 18 binary systems, two trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 32 of the 37 systems (86%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, six Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, nine Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Mongrebi has an estimated population of 23 billion distributed across five High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 13 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is World (Zarushagar 2740). The population consists of 2 sophont groups.
