Voss is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Gaussi Subsector of Zarushagar Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- It is a part of the Epshu Cluster region of the Greater Massilia Main.
- Voss was once known as Agamemnon.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Voss is a trinary star system.
- The primary is an orange main sequence.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.
- The tertiary is a red main sequence.
System Data[2][edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld, orbiting towards the outer edge of the primary star's habitable zone.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- Alqonquin, a tropical garden world orbiting within the primary star's habitable zone. It has abundant but extremely dangerous native life.
- Tradsia, a marginally habitable world orbiting in the secondary star's habitable zone. It is rich in minerals.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x2 gas giants. One of these, named Adin, orbits in the tertiary star's habitable zone.
- Its largest moon, Vradir, is marginally habitable but rich in minerals.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Voss orbits towards the outer edge of the primary star's habitable zone.
- It receives relatively low levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Voss is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Voss has a pressure of less than 0.1 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Voss has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
- It experiences low temperatures.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, trace atmosphere world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Voss is a member of the Epshu Cluster region of the Greater Massilia Main, a major Main and important trade route lying across parts of Massilia Sector and Zarushagar Sector.
The uninhabited Agamemnon system, as it was known at the time, was originally colonized by a corporation-backed mission launched during the Rule of Man. Despite the marginal nature of the planet chosen as the mainworld, the Agamemnon system showed surprising promise, having three worlds with conditions broadly suitable for human habitation: with a secondary garden world and many moons rich in minerals, the prospect of an almost entirely self-sufficient star system existed. All of the major planets and many moons were settled within 40 years of each other and Agamemnon became a colonial hotspot. Surviving records indicate that there was little military interest in the system during the Rule of Man and no bases were located there.[3]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Voss has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The port is almost entirely automated, being operated by a central computer and robot staff.
- A handful of sophont employees monitor activity and ensure the robots carry out their assigned tasks.
World Population (P)[edit]
Voss has a population of 80 sophonts (tens).
- This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without significant outside assistance. This may represent a transient population such as the crew of a starship, the final survivors of a dying colony, an advance team setting up to receive colonists, or a small outpost where establishing a colony is not the primary objective.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Anglic, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Voss possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovideo recorders.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, prototype collectors, advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-4.
World Government (G)[edit]
Voss is governed by a Corporate Polity, having a single corporation with a typical corporate structure as a government. Essentially, this is a "company town" (or world). The typical corporate-run world usually has a single purpose. Examples include mining, agriculture, or other kinds of resource extraction. But rather than a simple base of operations, there are facilities for housing workers and their families, including hospitals, schools, and other infrastructure. How, or if, the children of the workers are incorporated into the workforce varies with companies. The corporation running the world may be a subsidiary of a larger interstellar corporation.
World Law (L)[edit]
Voss has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Imperial Landed Nobility[edit]
Voss, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.

- Importance: 1 (ordinary)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 6 (few)
- Labor: 0 (none available)
- Infrastructure: 1 (extremely limited)
- Efficiency: -1 (average)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 1 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 2 (very xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 3 (somewhat typical)
- Symbols: B (abstract)
