5A1-474 is a barren fluid hellworld with oceans consisting of heavily contaminated water or a substance such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquid.
- This world has no overt population, government, or law level.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants.
- This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Bautzen Subsector of Neworld Sector.
- It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- This is a frozen world, with a climate of extremely low temperatures.
- This is a "forbidden" world designated as a Red Zone with an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that make it extremely dangerous to visitors. Everyone is forbidden to travel here.

Notes[edit]
The two stars of the 5A1-474 system have an average separation of 28 AU and orbit a barycenter that lies between them.
- They have an orbital period around one another of 201 standard years.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld. It is a major moon of the system's inner gas giant.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds, both orbiting the primary star.
- x1 planetoid belt, orbiting the secondary star.
- x3 gas giants, all orbiting the primary star.
Mainworld Data[edit]
5A1-474 is a major moon of a small gas giant with a spectacular ring system.
The mainworld and its gas giant primary world orbit within the primary star's outer system.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
5A1-474 is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
- Tidal stresses generated by the worlds gas giant primary world cause frequent seismic and geological activity.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
5A1-474 has an Exotic Atmosphere and possesses an unusual gas mix which requires the use of oxygen tanks. Additionally, protective suits, while not necessary, are recommended. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences low temperatures.
- Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere push up the world's surface temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
5A1-474 has 05-15% of its surface covered by water-ice heavily tainted with other substances, which makes it dangerous, corrosive, or toxic. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds may be Hell Worlds.
- The water on the surface may be unsuitable for use or consumption without extensive filtering and purification.
- Refining for fuel may cause issues with shipboard purification plants.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
5A1-474 is a Forbidden World and is designated as a Red Zone. It presents serious risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that make it extremely dangerous to visitors.
- Travel to this world is prohibited.
The system's secondary star experiences periodic bouts of flare activity, which causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
- During major outbursts of flare activity radiation levels close to the secondary star are dangerously high.
- Exposure to elevated radiation levels causes serious health issues and may damage unshielded electronic devices.
Solomani Security keeps a close eye on things to ensure the security of the Solomani State and the well-being of its loyal citizens.
World Starport (St)[edit]
5A1-474 does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Population (P)[edit]
5A1-474 is a Barren World with no sophont population. It may still possess lifeforms.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
5A1-474 possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)[edit]
5A1-474 has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Law (L)[edit]
5A1-474 has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
