Udinidir, subsector G of Mendan, contains 23 worlds with an estimated combined population of 10 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,851, and a total economy of BCr53,184. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr177 through 23 starports (3 Class A, 5 Class B, 15 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 20,955 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Udinidir maintain six Military bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 10). The highest technology level is 13 at Idimgakag (Mendan 2215).
Udinidir, subsector G of Mendan, contains 33 stars and 271 identified planets; 14 monostellar systems, eight binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 21 of the 23 systems (91%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Udinidir has an estimated population of 10 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Faell (Mendan 2020). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.

Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116
These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this area:
- -2235 to -2219: A family of Solomani traders, the Menderes, establish lucrative trade routes along the Mendan Main.
- -1658: the Sack of Gashikan, an atrocity known throughout the coreward parts of Charted Space.
- -1483 to -321: the Gashikan Race Wars rage between human and Vargr extremists across the Extents.
- -321: Karik Menderes of Menderes Corporation raises all Menderes Vargr to the status of employees.
- This starts a movement that makes slavery illegal on Asimikigir by -302.
- -275: Tran Menderes breaks precedent by accepting a Vargr offer to carry Menderes goods off planet. Until now, Kudukara Lines, the principle transport line of the Second Empire of Gashikan, has carried all goods for the region.
- (175 to 191): Julian War; the region unites to fight off the Third Imperium as it attempts to incorporate Amdukan, Mendan and Meshan sectors by force.
- Early 600s: After centuries of increasingly common peaceful (if wary) interaction, the Hhkar Sphere joins the Julian Protectorate.
- 933-936: The defection of the Damlaer Union from the Julian Protectorate to the Hegemony of Lorean leads to the Lorean Strikes. Failed military action leads to a major political crisis within the Protectorate.
- 940: As part of this political upheaval, the government of the Ikonaz Sphere collapses, replaced by the Rukadukaz Republic.
- 942: The Protectorate and the Hegemony formally sign the Treaty of Var-Inaka (restricting naval basing) and the Julian Concord, incorporating the Hegemony into the Julian Protectorate.
- 1070: The Second Empire of Gashikan is shattered by civil war.
- In the aftermath, while many Gashikan systems recoalesce into the Third Empire of Gashikan, others form the Commonwealth of Mendan and instead join the Julian Protectorate.
