Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Valosak, subsector K of Mendan, contains 33 worlds with an estimated combined population of 10 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,125, and a total economy of BCr22,104. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr571 through 30 starports (4 Class A, 11 Class B, 13 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 82,295 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Valosak maintain six Military bases and four Naval bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Epeius (Mendan 2230).
Valosak, subsector K of Mendan, contains 46 stars and 368 identified planets; 20 monostellar systems, 13 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 27 of the 33 systems (81%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, four Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, nine Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Valosak has an estimated population of 10 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Agoeng (Mendan 2323) and Gighokh (Mendan 2125). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.

Julian Protectorate[edit]
The Julian Protectorate has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 10 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,125, and a total economy of BCr22,104. The governments in the Julian Protectorate maintain six Military bases and four Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Epeius (Mendan 2230).
The Julian Protectorate has an estimated population of 10 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Agoeng (Mendan 2323) and Gighokh (Mendan 2125). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.
- The Julian Protectorate subsector capital of Valosak is Ozrake (Mendan 1822). This is also the capital of the Vugurar Dominion.

Linguistic Topography: 1116[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly encountered in this astrographic region:
- Anglic: Common to many human worlds; in this region, mostly variant dialects.
- Julian Anglic: The most common variant in the sector, and an official language of the Julian Protectorate.
- Hhraki: Also known as Hhkarn; the primary language of the Hhkar. Hhkar travel frequently and may be found wandering much of Julian and adjacent space.
- Irilitok: The language family of the most populous Vargr phenotype and ethnic culture within the Julian Protectorate.
- Rrakfugk: An Irilitok language common in the Asimikigir Confederation.
- Vuakedh: A common Irilitok language in the Domain of Antares.
- Ovaghoun: The language family of a populous Vargr phenotype and ethnic culture.
- Ikonaz Vargr: A form of the dominant Ovaghoun language in the Ikonaz Sphere (and so in the Rukadukaz Republic).
- Ikonaz Vilani: A variant of the above altered to suit Human vocalization.
- Vilani: Common to many human worlds. Many human dialects in Mendan have Vilani roots.
- Wawa-pakekeke-wawa: The common, precise and bureaucratic language of the Bwaps. Spoken on Bwap-dominated planets and by government functionaries on any world lucky enough to retain a dedicated Bwap workforce.
