Zebylono Subsector is a long-settled region with a firm industrial base.

  • The older name is found on Solomani star charts dating to the Rule of Man, before the Long Night.
  • The resources of the subsector are broadly exploited.
  • There is regular trade and commerce among its worlds.
  • Settlement of some previously barren worlds has begun within the coreward part of the subsector.

Pietten is expansionistic and has colonial intentions. It directly controls some nearby systems.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes: 1105[edit]

The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Zebylono Subsector:

  • The subsector is an average stellar density region.
  • The brightest star is the red giant primary of the Arivesh system.
  • No trade routes are noted as crossing the region.

Stellar Distribution[edit]

A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Zebylono Subsector, right:

  • The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
  • The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.

Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.

  • Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
  • Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.

Rift Regions[edit]

The Great Rift occupies the rimward-trailing region of the subsector.

The highest tech level commonly encountered out this Far Along (spinward of the Third Imperium) is TL–12, though a few worlds may be more advanced.

The Borealis Group can be seen as a bright, dense, noticeable grouping of stars in the skies to Spinward.

World Listing: 1105[edit]

Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Riter Subsector is available.

  • The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
  • Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
  • Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
  • Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.

AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Pietten Confederation, Historical. (Chart sourced from Traveller Map).

Zebylono Subsector is a remote but settled region with a long history of introversion and isolationism.

All except a few of its coreward systems formed part of an ancient Muirimi state called the Pietten Confederation.

The Muirimi were citizens of the Old Earth Union, in the Solomani Rim, during the Long Night. Their culture was centered on the religious belief of Sitaraism: they gained considerable antipathy due to their views on possessions, private ownership, and territorial rights. They fled Terra aboard a number of large starships during the -200s and somehow made it across Charted Space, finally settling in the isolated wildernesses of Iphigenaia Sector and Theron Sector sometime around -100.

The Pietten Confederation was founded around the year 220. It survived almost unchanged until surrendering its independence to form the Regency, in order to better deal with the growing Aslan menace in the region.

Polity Listing: 1105[edit]

The following polities can be found within this subsector:

Native Sophonts (NILs): 1105[edit]

No races (sophont species) are believed to have originated within this subsector.

Demographics: 1105[edit]

Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this subsector:

  • Humaniti (Human Races)
    • Solomani-descended Muirimi: 1.817 billion over 26 populated worlds.

Most of the population are followers of Sitaraism.
