Kashlach is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Zebylono Subsector of Iphigenaia Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Kashlach has a solitary primary star.
- It is a turbulent white subgiant.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x4 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 gas giant.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the stars habitable zone.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Kashlach is a Small World between 2,400km and 4,000km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.1G and 0.17G. The horizon will appear about 2.5km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Kashlach has a pressure of less than 0.1 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Kashlach has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Blank map, trace atmosphere world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Kashlach is a remote and desolate outpost. Few intelligent beings have ever have set foot on the other worlds in the system.
The system's primary star causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Kashlach has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Kashlach has a population of 700.
Urbanization[edit]
A single central facility with a few outlying structures and compounds.
- Structures and facilities are sealed against local environmental conditions.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Kashlach possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Advanced automobiles.
- Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
- Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
- Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Kashlach is governed by a Corporate Polity, having a single corporation with a typical corporate structure as a government. Essentially, this is a "company town" (or world). The typical corporate-run world usually has a single purpose. Examples include mining, agriculture, or other kinds of resource extraction. But rather than a simple base of operations, there are facilities for housing workers and their families, including hospitals, schools, and other infrastructure. How, or if, the children of the workers are incorporated into the workforce varies with companies. The corporation running the world may be a subsidiary of a larger interstellar corporation.
World Military[edit]
Privately retained security personnel.
World Law (L)[edit]
Kashlach has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Machine guns, other automatic weapons, portable energy weapons, and other military weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 7 (few)
- Labor: 1 (tens)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -1 (average)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 0 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: 0 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 0 (very distinct)
- Symbols: 0 (very concrete)
