The Sao Group is a named region of the Tharrynra Main, a large Main lying within Delphi and Fornast Sectors.
- It is an astrographic feature and part of a major trade route.

The Sao Group is a named region of the Tharrynra Main, a large Main and a major regional trade route lying across the border between Delphi Sector and Fornast Sector.
- It has 12 member worlds.
- It is named for Tsent, a technologically advanced high population world and the namesake of Tsent Subsector.

- Ishumi of Bold (Minor Race): sophonts whose homeworld lies on the Main. Most remain on their world, though a few enclaves and travellers will be encountered elsewhere along the main.
