Subsector N of Massilia Sector, strongly Geonee in character, as a distinct unofficial cultural region of the Third Imperium.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Shokee Subsector is defended by 106th Fleet.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Shokee, subsector N of Massilia, contains 31 worlds with an estimated combined population of 130 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,589, and a total economy of BCr986,604. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr9,833 through 31 starports (4 Class A, 17 Class B, 6 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 1,677,725 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Shokee maintain six Scout bases and five Naval bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Nobody (Massilia 1538).
Shokee, subsector N of Massilia, contains 42 stars and 307 identified planets; 21 monostellar systems, nine binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 24 of the 31 systems (77%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Shokee has an estimated population of 130 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 11 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Nagiida (Massilia 1233) and Llyrn (Massilia 0931). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups including one native sophonts. One Minor Human Race sophont population (on Tanny) is extinct.

Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea[edit]
The Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 130 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,589, and a total economy of BCr986,604. The governments in the Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea maintain six Scout bases and five Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Nobody (Massilia 1538).
The Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea has an estimated population of 130 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 11 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Nagiida (Massilia 1233) and Llyrn (Massilia 0931). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups including one native sophont.
- The Third Imperium, Domain of Sylea subsector capital of Shokee is Nagiida (Massilia 1233).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Shokee Subsector was explored by the Geonee Empire under Emperor Bradasee I. This Geonee government emphasized space exploration, surveying most of Shokee and the Shiwonee Subsector over a period of 20 years. Most of the newly explored worlds were empty, but a few held some surprises for the Geonee. Among these surprises were Chirpers at Theradway (Massilia 1534), the remains of an extinguished Human (but non-Geonee) race at Tanny (Massilia 1238), and the presence of an intelligent (if primitive) non-Human race at Llyrn (Massilia 0931).
Polity Listing: 1105[edit]
The following polities can be found within this subsector:
- Independent Powers (Pocket Empires)
- None
- Non-Aligned Powers (World-States)
- None
- Other Powers

- Solomani Confederation (Solomani powers)
- None
- Third Imperium (Imperial powers)
- Various member systems and worlds.
- Duchy of Shiwonee
Native Sophonts (NILs): 1105[edit]
The following races (sophont species) are believed to have originated in this area:
- Humaniti (Human races)
- Unnamed Human race at Tanny; long extinct, details unknown
Demographics: 1105[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this area:
- Humaniti (Human races)
Linguistic Topography: 1105[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:
- Anglic: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Irkonee: The predominate language of the Geonee.
- Llyrnian languages: The native languages of the Llyrnian race.
- Oynprith: The ritualistic, ceremonial language of Droyne communities throughout Charted Space.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Wawa-pakekeke-wawa: The common, precise and bureaucratic language of the Bwaps. Spoken on Bwap-dominated planets and by government functionaries on any world lucky enough to retain a dedicated Bwap workforce.
Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116[edit]
These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this subsector:
- -9270: The Geonee discover a derelict Ancient starship in one of their system’s planetoid belts.
- -9240: Research pays off, allowing Geonee to copy jump drive technology and build starships.
- -9100: Following a strong debate on the future of the colonies, a member of the Meeralo Council is able to gain enough support to force a more centralized form of government. Bradasee I declares the Geonee Empire. The new empire surveys most of the Shokee Subsector over the next 20 years, including contact with the Llyrnians.
