Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Rego, subsector B of Amdukan, contains 25 worlds with an estimated combined population of 16 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,705, and a total economy of BCr61,478. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,650 through 21 starports (1 Class A, 7 Class B, 11 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 208,900 people. Driving this interstellar trade are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, one Rich (Ri) world, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Rego maintain eight Military bases and six Naval bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 4 and 10). The highest technology level is 14 at Rerur (Amdukan 1010).
Rego, subsector B of Amdukan, contains 35 stars and 293 identified planets; 15 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 23 of the 25 systems (92%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, three Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Rego has an estimated population of 16 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Sunabim (Amdukan 1302), Buladki (Amdukan 1507), and Ilage (Amdukan 1502). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.

Julian Protectorate[edit]
The Julian Protectorate has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 16 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,705, and a total economy of BCr61,478. The governments in the Julian Protectorate maintain eight Military bases and six Naval bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 4 and 10). The highest technology level is 14 at Rerur (Amdukan 1010).
The Julian Protectorate has an estimated population of 16 billion within the subsector, distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Sunabim (Amdukan 1302), Buladki (Amdukan 1507), and Ilage (Amdukan 1502). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups.
- The Julian Protectorate, subsector capital of Rego is Rerur (Amdukan 1010), which is also the capital of the Alliance of Ozuvon.

Linguistic Topography: 1116[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly encountered in this astrographic region:
- Anglic: Common to many Human worlds.
- Julian Anglic: The most common variant in the sector, and an official language of the Julian Protectorate.
- Irilitok: The language family of the most populous Vargr phenotype and ethnic culture within the Julian Protectorate.
- Vilani: Common to many human worlds. Many human dialects in the region have Vilani roots.
- Wawa-pakekeke-wawa: The common, precise and bureaucratic language of the Bwaps. Spoken on Bwap-dominated planets and by government functionaries on any world lucky enough to retain a dedicated Bwap workforce.
Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116[edit]
These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this subsector and the surrounding region:
- -2235 to -2219: A family of Solomani traders, the Menderes, establish lucrative trade routes along the Mendan Main.
- -1658: The Sack of Gashikan, an atrocity known throughout the coreward parts of Charted Space.
- -1483 to -321: The Gashikan Race Wars rage between Human and Vargr extremists across the Extents.
- -321: Karik Menderes of Menderes Corporation raises all Menderes Vargr to the status of employees.
- This starts a movement that makes slavery illegal on Asimikigir by -302.
- -275: Tran Menderes breaks precedent by accepting a Vargr offer to carry Menderes goods off planet. Until now, Kudukara Lines, the principle transport line of the Second Empire of Gashikan, has carried all goods for the region.
- (175 to 191): Julian War; the region unites to fight off the Third Imperium as it attempts to incorporate Amdukan, Mendan and Meshan sectors by force.
- Early 600s: After centuries of increasingly common peaceful (if wary) interaction, the Hhkar Sphere joins the Julian Protectorate.
- 933-936: The defection of the Damlaer Union from the Julian Protectorate to the Hegemony of Lorean leads to the Lorean Strikes. Failed military action leads to a major political crisis within the Protectorate.
- 940: As part of this political upheaval, the government of the Ikonaz Sphere collapses, replaced by the Rukadukaz Republic.
- 942: The Protectorate and the Hegemony formally sign the Treaty of Var-Inaka (restricting naval basing) and the Julian Concord, incorporating the Hegemony into the Julian Protectorate.
- 1070: The Second Empire of Gashikan is shattered by civil war.
- In the aftermath, while many Gashikan systems recoalesce into the Third Empire of Gashikan, others form the Commonwealth of Mendan and instead join the Julian Protectorate.
