Summary[edit]
Ownsbee, subsector M of Gateway, contains 22 worlds with an estimated combined population of 11 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,678, and a total economy of BCr55,759. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,148 through 17 starports (2 Class A, 4 Class B, 9 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 185,190 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Ownsbee maintain two Naval Bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 6 and 9). The highest technology level is 10 at Caldwell (Gateway 0332), Grosbeak (Gateway 0831), and Aqua Marina (Gateway 0832).
Ownsbee, subsector M of Gateway, contains 31 stars and 243 identified planets; 13 monostellar systems, nine binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 18 of the 22 systems (81%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, two Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Ownsbee has an estimated population of 11 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Harper (Gateway 0135). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups. One native sophont (Capry) is also present.
