Subsector A of Crucis Margin Sector.

Description[edit]

The Etzina Run is the most notable stellar cluster, crossing over into Glimmerdrift Reaches Sector to spinward.

Summary[edit]

Ostermann, subsector A of Crucis Margin, contains 27 worlds with an estimated combined population of 2 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,937, and a total economy of BCr10,285. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,324 through 24 starports (5 Class A, 10 Class B, 8 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 439,885 people. Driving this interstellar trade are eight Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, eight Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Ostermann maintain three Naval bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 7 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Ewa (Crucis Margin 0702) and Abricot (Crucis Margin 0704).

Ostermann, subsector A of Crucis Margin, contains 39 stars and 256 identified planets; 15 monostellar systems, 12 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 11 of the 27 systems (40%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, one Desert (De) world, three Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Ostermann has an estimated population of 2 billion distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, seven Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Abricot (Crucis Margin 0704), Genk (Crucis Margin 0807), Boe (Crucis Margin 0103), Ewa (Crucis Margin 0702), Etzina (Crucis Margin 0401), and Arket (Crucis Margin 0508). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]

There are 23 Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Ostermann with an estimated combined population of 1 billion.

Mische Conglomerate[edit]

The Mische Conglomerate has jurisdiction over four worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 1 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,709, and a total economy of BCr4,757. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr97 through 4 starports (3 Class A, 1 Class B, 0 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 68,165 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 10 and 12). The highest technology level is 12 at Ewa (Crucis Margin 0702) and Abricot (Crucis Margin 0704).

The Mische Conglomerate has an estimated population of 1 billion within the subsector, distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, one Non-industrial (Ni) world, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Abricot (Crucis Margin 0704) and Ewa (Crucis Margin 0702). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
