Subsector P of Vland Sector. Kakadan Subsector is an extremely densely settled and rich region within the Vilani sphere of influence. It hosts dozens of noble title holders.

There is a pocket of J'sia influence in the trailing-rimward part of the subsector, dating particularly to the late Long Night.

Driving this interstellar trade are eight Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and four Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Kakadan maintain 11 Naval bases, eight Scout bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Kakadan (Vland 2636), Icuspin (Vland 2931), and Alleman (Vland 3137).
