Trade Routes (Economic Astrography)[edit]
One major trade route dominates the region:
The Vilani Main[edit]
The Vilani Main, the mighty trade artery of the Ziru Sirka, includes every system within the subsector.
- High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Kakadan, subsector P of Vland, contains 47 worlds with an estimated combined population of 165 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,973, and a total economy of BCr655,553. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,976 through 40 starports (11 Class A, 14 Class B, 11 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 397,975 people. Driving this interstellar trade are eight Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and four Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Kakadan maintain 11 Naval bases, eight Scout bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Kakadan (Vland 2636), Icuspin (Vland 2931), and Alleman (Vland 3137).
Kakadan, subsector P of Vland, contains 69 stars and 510 identified planets; 28 monostellar systems, 16 binary systems, three trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 35 of the 47 systems (74%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, seven Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Kakadan has an estimated population of 165 billion distributed across seven High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 13 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Kane (Vland 2631), Inushir (Vland 2836), and Aki (Vland 2533). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
