Subsector D of Dagudashaag Sector.

Iiradu Subsector is a relatively high-technology subsector; there are five systems at TL–15. The area is predominantly industrial, and is an agricultural desert, as there are only two agricultural worlds within the borders of its Duchy.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Iiradu Subsector is defended by 187th Fleet.

This subsector is fairly heavily Vilani in sympathy, and it is in this region that much of the opposition to Sector Duchess Karyn Viisarikaa's policies of economic deregulation has been encountered.

Trade Routes (Economic Astrography)[edit]

The Vilani Main[edit]

The Vilani Main, the mighty trade artery of the Ziru Sirka, extends into the coreward half of the subsector.

  • This region of the main is known locally as the Plague Way.
  • High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
  • Worlds on the Main are highlighted in green.
  • Vland is marked in red.

Apge Run[edit]

A couple of systems on the trailing border are part of the Apge Run, a sizeable main otherwise located in Core Sector.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Iiradu, subsector D of Dagudashaag, contains 33 worlds with an estimated combined population of 98 billion, a per capita income of Cr15,719, and a total economy of BCr1,554,725. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr24,537 through 33 starports (5 Class A, 12 Class B, 16 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 4,369,835 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, five Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Iiradu maintain ten Scout bases, six Naval bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Iiradu (Dagudashaag 3008).

Iiradu, subsector D of Dagudashaag, contains 46 stars and 359 identified planets; 21 monostellar systems, 11 binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 25 of the 33 systems (75%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, six Poor (Po) worlds, six Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Iiradu has an estimated population of 98 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, seven Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Iiradu (Dagudashaag 3008). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont (a Human chimera).

Third Imperium[edit]

The Third Imperium has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 98 billion, a per capita income of Cr15,719, and a total economy of BCr1,554,725. The governments in the Third Imperium maintain ten Scout bases, six Naval bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Iiradu (Dagudashaag 3008).

The Third Imperium has an estimated population of 98 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, seven Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Iiradu (Dagudashaag 3008). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.
